How do I sell my unwanted gold jewelry?

How do I know what my items are worth? How do you place a value on my items?
The value we place on your items is largely based on current spot price of gold, the karat and the weight of the items. Some fine jewelry, estate and period pieces will be worth
more. Each individual item will stand on it's own merit.
How do I know if my gold is real or not?
Feel free to send us your items even if you do not know if they are real. We can accurately, quickly and easily test them. We do not charge a fee to test your items. It is not
unusual to see real gold items that are unstamped. It is also quite common for us to see items which are stamped gold, but in fact, are not gold.
What about the stones in my gold jewelry?
We can remove stones or offer to purchase items with stones in them but this is done on a case to case basis.
Do you buy or compensate me for the stones in my jewelry?
We can either offer to purchase your stones, or tell you that we are not able to make an offer on your stones if that is the case. We do prefer to buy large certified diamonds
but might possibly make an offer on any stone depending on the particular stone and our level of interest.
What if sell my items and then change my mind?
It is important that our customers feel comfortable with our buying and selling process. You are not obligated to sell your items. If you do choose to sell your items
to us and accept a purchase offer made by us it is of your own free will. You will be asked to sign a receipt. Because precious metals prices fluctuate and market
conditions change quickly, your receipt will indicate and by way of your signature you will agree, that all sales are final and refunds will not be issued under any
circumstances.
We work very closely with local and state law enforcement.
We do not tolerate any suspicious activity, obvious criminal activity, the attempted sale of stolen merchandise, presentation of false
identification, or other illegal activity. Any attempt to commit such acts will be immediately reported to the Raleigh Police Department.
